Erotic - having to do with love -from Eros, god of love

Floral - relating to flowers - from Flora, goddess of flowers

Geology - study of the Earth - from geo- (Earth) and -ology (study of)

Harpy - a female winged monster from Greek mythology

Hypnotic - inducing sleep - from Hypnos, Greek god of sleep

Insomnia - lack of sleep - from LATIN, not Greek

Jovial - having good humor - from the Roman god Jupiter; this is also NOT GREEK!
