Can you wear BLACK to a summer daytime wedding?

tomorrow is my cousin's wedding and i hav no time to shop for a dress so im just going to wear my graduation dress. its knee length, spaghetti strap floral dress with black and white and it has a green band at the waist. would this be okay?? cuz everyones making a freakin big deal about wearing black to a daytime wedding.

Reply:It's perfectly okay to wear black, but if you have a lighter dress, you might want to consider wearing it just b/c black absorbs the sun's heat, so you might get really hot!
