I am a apartment property manager and am looking for some unique promotional ideas to offer tenants that are already living here. One idea I have is best floral arrangment will receive $100 off rent. Any other unique ideas that you would love to see implemented (besides free month rent with 1 yr lease)?

How about a pot luck to encourage a sense of community? Have different categories (entree, side dish, dessert, etc) and have a winner from each category that gets a gift certificate to a restaurant or local grocery store. (You might be able to get the gift certificate given to you as a promotional opportunity for the place giving it, too.)
Reply:anything seasonal. i don't know if your tenants have outdoor space, but planting/gardening stuff this time of year is great. good for your property and good for the tenants' community. your floral arrangement idea sounds good. are you looking to promote the community atmosphere? or competition? or are you willing to give all tenants an opportunity to take advantage of the promotion?
if it's community/competition, give everyone a bit of garden space and let them all do their own plantings. best flowers wins. best herb garden wins. all the while, you are benefitting from their yard work. or do a community fundraiser. pick a charity, have tenants gather pledges, and the one who raises the most gets the discount.
if your willing to let multiple people cash in on the prize, make it universal. same as above, where a certain level of participation guarantees the discount (ie: x-number of hours yard work, or $x.xx for the charity)
make it fun and good for ALL your tenants!
