Not painting or anything like that as we rent our home. I'm in my 50's my partner he is in his early 40's. I'm not a big fan of floral bedspreads/doona. Or to much stripes. Maybe something homey,comfortable feel, happy,welcoming or even a cottage feel. It is 3 bedrooms, kithchen/dining, open loungeroom. Thank you for your time.
What are some budget or very cheap ways to do your home up? Thanks?
Spruce up with new areal rugs,change curtains to contrast with walls.Get new picture frames and some new throw pillows for sofa.Also some colorful candles and holders.New lamps.
Reply:You can get some cheap second hand chairs, boxes, chests of drawers, etc. and paint them cheerful colours. If you have to leave them it's not too much to lose. Buddy gives some good tips. Charity shops are good places to get cheap curtains etc. Keep an eye on skips too.
