I was just wondering about floral pattens and how long they are going to be in fashion?

ok so I have a few questions:



1) How long will the flowers be in fashion?

2) are floral prints in fashion anywhere but the UK?

3) How much would you spend on an everyday dress and is ￡50 too much for a student who only gets ￡30 a week spending money

hi, im american by the way and dont get much spending money at all, so when i buy something it has to be good, also im majoring in fashion merchandising next year, so i know pretty well the industry.

florals are undoubtedly one of the hottest spring/summer trends of 2008 so i am buying tons of cute light, flowy floral prints and embriodered shirts and dresses. i think that the fall and winter are going to not include florals because of the temperature and season. but if you want something for the summer, florals are still hot!

im not saying they will be as hot next year, chances they won't but remember fashion is a wheel: most incredibly popular trends such as the high wasted pants and gladiator sandals were all once part of history, so dont throw those old clothes away
Reply:im american. i dont even know what that symbol means. i wore a cocktail dress to my prom last weekend though and its not just a prom dress its like a going out dress but i am definatly going to wear it for the rest of the summer--if that helps at all
Reply:They're not ACTUALLY in fashion. All of that floral crap was horrible in the early 90s and it is every bit as horrible now. Why would anyone want to look like they are wearing old lady wallpaper. Ugh.
