What curtains would look good with beige and red sofas, a red/brown carpet, and warm off white walls?

The floors will be either ash-white marble or white-brown marble. The walls are white with a tinge of barley. The sofas are beige and red. I have both red and coffee brown/beige carpets that I alternate. Stumped as to floral, stripes, checks, lacy or what. No clue as to color either.

what about something dramatic. match the red of the sofa. you could either go for a heavy look in a thick fabric like velvet or jacquard, or keep it lighter in a cotton or sheer organza.
Reply:I would go with a light subtle shade of green. The sage type greens that you typically see in oriental schemes. No pattern.
Reply:I think black curtains with some sort of white design on them would go well with your room!
Reply:Ecru Lace, you can either add a little color to bring the shades of your carpet,a/or sofa by getting some ribbon from a craft store and weave in thru top of curtain where it goes on the rod,or put a artifical vine across top of curtain creating a swag effect.I do this an it's very inexpensive an looks great.then you'll have more looks without the price.
Reply:Brown is always a good choice.
Reply:plain beige would be the best. maybe a shade deeper than the beige in the sofa. or you could always go with plain red, but red is not for everyone. plain curtians would be the best because there are already patterns going on in the room. you don't want to make the room appear to busy.
Reply:I will go with matching the brown off the carpet. If it is deep chocolate brown it will look great against your off white walls and will compliment the reds and beiges you have on the sofa.

Accentuate this with a tie-back rope tassle that has red and beige in it. Go with a fabric that is of solid color but one that has a sheen to it like this one from JC Penney

Reply:I would try and match the walls. let the scenery and your furnishings be the focal point. I have done this in my home and it looks great!
