How can i get black mold stains out of colored sheets?

i had floral print sheets in my basement, and they got moldy. i washed them, and the mold has stained the sheets with black, even after i washed them. is there a way to get that out?

Color-safe bleach is the only thing I can think of that might work.
Reply:Try Fels Naphtha bar laundry soap per stain instructions. It breaks down grease and oils as well as minute particle organic stains.

Reply:Oxyclean, Tide To Go pens, and things like that, tend to work pretty well on organic stains, stains made by things that are/were alive. Mold lives and grows. Therefore, you might have luck with those two things, and any other product like it.



I've never used color-safe bleach, but if the sheets are already ruined by the stains, you might as well try. Can't get any worse!



I've also had huge success with Shout spray. It's taken out stains even after I've run them through the dryer, including some pretty bad stains on my son's work clothes, that were dried not once but several times, before the cooks at his work told him to have me try Shout.
Reply:If they have been dryed in a Hot dryer the stain may have set. But try oxyclean in the wash or 1/4 cup Cascade dishwasher power in a full load of hot water. The cascade

is excellent for protein stains (like fast food grease) If that doesn't

do it, it may never come clean.

Reply:You can risk washing them with diluted bleach, it may fade color but will kill mold.
